Skin Resurfacing
We are the #1 provider of non-surgical laser facelifts and skin tightening in Canada
Rejuvenate your skin and reduce or eliminate the signs of sun damage and age spots, fine lines and wrinkles or diminish unsightly stretch marks, acne and surgical scars with our advanced non ablative, non invasive 1440 fractional CAP technology. You will have healthier-looking skin with no downtime and no pain.
1440 FRACTIONAL CAP TECHNOLOGY:
This treatment reduces wrinkles, treats scars and stretch marks and improves overall skin tone texture issues. Unlike other non ablative competitive technologies which provide only one level of heat intensity and fail to optimize collagen production, CAP technology is a specialized optical lens array that redistributes laser energy into varied levels of heat intensities to simultaneously stimulate and remodel collagen. Since lower energy levels can be delivered to the skin without compromising effectiveness, client discomfort is significantly decreased while the healing process is rapidly accelerated.
The result? A complete skin rejuvenation solution that provides better and faster results than any other available product.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do laser treatments erase discoloration?
The intense pulsed light emits wavelengths that are absorbed by vascular and pigmented lesions in multiple levels of the skin. When the broad band light is absorbed by melanin (brown spots) and oxy-hemoglobin (veins / red spots), the discoloration and spots are gently heated and destroyed.
What areas can be treated?
Laser skin rejuvenation and skin resurfacing procedures can be done on almost any part of the body. Treatments can be preformed anywhere that discoloration, pigmentation or scarring issues are of a concern to you
How long does the procedure take?
It depends on the area being treated. It typically takes 30-40 minutes to treat the entire face.
Is it painful?
Anesthesia is not required for the treatment as it produces little to no discomfort. Some clients compare the sensation to a hot rubber band snap.
Is it safe?
Complications are extremely rare. In less than 1% of cases, skin lightning (hypopigmentation) or skin darkening (hyperpigmentation) may occur. It is advisable to wear sunblock at all times once you have committed to laser treatments.
Premier Medical Spa takes great pride in our committment to client safety with all laser treatments. Pre and post instructions will be discussed with you before and after every visit.
How many treatments are required?
It is recommended to have a series 6-8 treatments in 2 to 4 week intervals. Single maintenance treatments every 6 months as well as a proper skin care line such as PCA, Dermalogica or Pro Derm will help to retain optimal results.
What results can I expect
Visible signs of aging and sun damage will be significantly reduced. There will be an overall improvement in skin texture, tightness and skin tone. Stretch marks, acne and surgical scars will be substantially minimized.
Are there any side effects?
The vascular and pigmented lesions may become darker in appearance for 5 to 7 days. There may be some mild swelling and redness immediately following your visit, however this can usually be covered with make up and normally does not last more than 2 to 3 days.. The area will feel warm afterwards, similar to a sun burn. Cold compresses will help reduce this sensation.
Can I still wear make-up?
Yes, you can apply regular make-up 24 hours after the IPL treatment. Jane Iredale minerals will be applied immediately following your treatment.
Who is appropriate for treatments?
Laser rejuvenation and resurfacing treatments use intense pulsed light and laser technologies. When used at the proper settings these lasers are safe for most skin types, however it is not recommended for very dark skinned clients.
What can I expect following the treatment?
Following the treatment the technician will recommend a sun block for daily wear. Jane Iredale mineral make-up can be applied immediately after treatment and you can resume normal indoor activities. Many patients schedule their treatments over lunch and return to work right after. There may be some slight redness or swelling for a few hours or, on rare occasions, a few days.
Darker pigments and freckles may get darker after the initial treatment and flake off in a few days.
Because the lasers reduce wrinkles by encouraging new collagen growth, wrinkle improvement and resurfacing is gradual. At the time of your third treatment, 8-12 weeks after your initial treatment, you will begin to note wrinkle improvement and scar or stretch mark reduction
How long do the effects last?
Aging is progressive. The wrinkles and sun damage that are visible today were often created years earlier. Care should be taken to wear sun block daily to help prevent new sun damage from occurring. Additionally, new pigmentation, wrinkles, stretch marks or acne scars cannot necessarily be prevented.
However, the lasers stimulation of new collagen growth will help slow the appearance of new wrinkles in the future. A good skin regimen, like PCA Advanced Skin Care, will help slow the progression of aging skin and help protect against new sun damage.
Why should I choose Laser Skin Rejuvenation?
Laser Skin Rejuvenation and Skin Resurfacing treatments are a wonderful, cost-effective alternative for patients who want a more youthful, less flawed appearance without needles, cosmetic surgery or weeks of recovery time.
